Prithvi Group-The group was started by our MD (Mr. Jagan Nath Sharma) who
in a tender age of 11 started working in a factory manufacturing sewing
machine parts in 1956 on a meager salary, then afterwards he started
working at a lathe machine. In 1965 he joined as a Foreman in a rolling
mill. He gained very good knowledge about window sections & various
other special section while working in rolling mill. While working in
rolling mill he found that there was a lot of wastage of fuel (furnace oil)in
reheating furnace. He thought over it & soon he developed the fuel
saving device. In 1983 he established his own unit in the name & style
of Punjab Engineers & Fabricators in which he
manufacture fuel saving devices for rolling mills & boilers. In 1990
he established a rolling mill named Shree Ganesh Rolling
Mills for manufacturing flats & Bars. In 1992
Shree Prithvi Steel Rolling Mills Pvt. Ltd was setup for the
manufacturing of iron & steel sections as per BIS
Specification bearing. ISI No 7452, 2062
& ISO:9001 with brand name PRITHVI with
latest & own Technology.
In 2004 the induction furnace was setup for manufacturing of high class mild steel and alloy steel ingots.

This is the Steel Hot-Rolling division of the group. This is India's first automatic plant which produces a wide range of standard as well as customized Mild Steel Window, Door and Ventilator sections to choose from. We have many special and complex shapes with weights less than 1 kg/meter to as high as 10 kg/meter. Apart from this we manufacture various elevator sections, bearing steel rounds, automobile sections (lock rings), as well as all types of special profiles and shapes.

The main business of the group is to export its products to major European, North American, African, South East Asian and other markets as well as supply to all big fabricators as well as OEM's locally for their requirements of standard and customized profiles. We have a long history and a very good reputation.
